Information Architecture

Information Architecture is the process of planning the structure of a website, with a key focus on usability. This involves analysing the needs of  users and developing layouts and menu structures to produce the most intuitive and easy browsing experience.

When designing websites, we take Information Architecture very seriously. We have dedicated team members who examine every new project using strict IA principles to ensure a professional end result. By doing this adequate planning, we can make any necessary adjustments early, before the expensive stages of development have begun. As a result, we can save time and money and create a finished product that accurately meets our clients and their website users requirements.

We will gather comprehensive background information about who you are, what content you want displayed and what requirements your users have. Based on this we produce a Wireframe or White Site. This is essentially a blueprint, which allows you to see the rough layout of your site. After receiving your feedback we refine the Wireframe, adding more detail, until we have an accurate representation of the end result that both parties are satisfied with. With this strong foundation in-hand, we can rapidly move into Visual Design and Development stages.
